Since 2.0 shipped, every release in the series has chased the same feeling: the moment an agent finishes should reach you instantly, and the notch should be worth a glance even when nothing is speaking.
Version 2.0.7 rounds out that work. A chime marks the exact moment a callout begins, the collapsed notch shows live agent activity through its sprites, and the whole surface responds to your very first hover and click.
A chime before the voice
A spoken summary takes a couple of seconds to prepare, and that quiet gap used to be the moment people looked away. Now a short chime lands the instant a callout starts, so your attention is already there when the voice begins.
Six sounds ship in this release. Bloom, a warm two-note rise, is the default. Aurora and Sonar stay calm and glassy, while Arcade, Coin, and Powerup lean playful. Each one previews as you pick it in Settings, the toggle beside it turns the chime off entirely, and muting your voice mutes the chime with it.
A glanceable notch, even collapsed
The collapsed notch used to be a quiet strip that only came alive when you hovered. Now the sprites themselves carry the signal: an agent that is actively working keeps its sprite animating, and a session that has gone stale lets its sprite rest.
The result is ambient status. You can tell from across the room whether your agents are still busy, without expanding the island or touching the mouse. The compact layout work from the earlier 2.0.x releases keeps all of it fitting cleanly around the physical notch on every MacBook.
The handoff got faster and the first click counts
Callouts now begin the moment a session finishes. The short delay that used to sit between an agent completing work and the notch reacting is gone, so the chime, the animation, and the voice all belong to the same moment.
The same attention went into the small interactions. The first time you hover a session row the pointer responds, and the first click takes you to that session's window. Little moments, but they are the ones you repeat a hundred times a day.
Product decision
The principle behind 2.0.7
The product's whole job happens in one moment: the handoff between an agent finishing and a person understanding what happened. Every second of delay and every dead click in that moment costs more than any feature can add.
That is why this release is sound, motion, and responsiveness rather than new panels. The notch should feel alive exactly when your agents are, and silent the rest of the time.
