What's new.

The compact record of what shipped. Versions are the timeline. Each entry links to the fuller story and the product decision behind it.

Version 2.5

Start sessions from the notch, and callouts that wait their turn

Read the start sessions from the notch, and callouts that wait their turn release story
  • Start a coding session without opening a terminal: pick a folder, pick an agent, and the notch announces it ready for your input.
  • Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, Pi, Gemini CLI, and Antigravity all launch with their existing local settings and sign-in.
  • A sessions window keeps the terminals themselves one click away: real tabs, stop and resume, and past Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, and Pi conversations you can pick back up exactly where they left off.
  • Turn on the new microphone setting and automatic callouts hold while any app is using your mic, then play in order once it frees up, with a card in the notch you can tap to play now.
  • Start talking while a callout is speaking and it pauses mid-sentence, then resumes when you stop. Click and hotkey playback always start immediately.

Version 2.4

Unlimited callouts for multi-agent days

Read the unlimited callouts for multi-agent days release story
  • Pro and Max now include unlimited callouts: no minutes to ration, within a fair-use window that refills on its own.
  • Max carries five times the voice capacity of Pro in every window, built for the days when several agents are working at once.
  • The Usage panel now shows the live window: how much of it you have used and when it resets, in the app and on your account page.
  • Answering from the notch keeps growing: direct replies, Claude planning questions as focused cards, and supported approvals, each delivered to the exact session it belongs to.
  • Every reply now reports its outcome, session awareness is sharper across supported agents, and support reports carry deeper diagnostics.

Version 2.3

Hola, mundo: your agents speak Spanish now

Read the hola, mundo: your agents speak spanish now release story
  • Agent Callout goes Latin: flip one Language setting and the whole product follows, from the notch to the menus to the words in your ears.
  • Summaries now arrive in natural Latin American Spanish, in every style, while file names, commands, and error messages stay exactly as your agent wrote them.
  • Seven new Spanish voices join the roster: Marcos, Lety, Max, Sandra, Paty, Alicia, and Jorge, each with its own preview and its own agent to speak for.
  • The entire Mac app is translated, roughly 550 strings of it, and switching languages re-renders everything live, no relaunch required.
  • Spanish support is beta and we are honest about it: if a phrase sounds off to a native ear, tell us and we will fix it fast.

Version 2.2

See the whole change before you say yes

Read the see the whole change before you say yes release story
  • Approval cards carry the change now: real change counts, tinted added and removed lines with line numbers, and full multi-line commands, right on the card.
  • Hover the diff for the full review: a wider sheet drops over the notch with the old code on the left and the new code on the right, scrolling together like a proper code review.
  • Answer from the review itself: Allow and Deny stay pinned at the bottom of the sheet, and answering collapses it back into the notch.
  • Approvals got steadier underneath: parallel permission requests no longer race each other, every card resolves to exactly the request it belongs to, and stale cards clear themselves.

Version 2.0.7

The notch comes alive

Read the the notch comes alive release story
  • Callout chimes: a short sound plays the instant a callout starts, so your attention arrives before the voice does. Six sounds ship, Bloom is the default, and the off switch sits right beside the playback settings.
  • The collapsed notch is alive now: each agent's sprite animates while its session is working and rests once the session goes stale, so a glance at the notch tells you who is busy without expanding anything.
  • Callouts begin the moment a session finishes. The wait between an agent completing work and the notch reacting is gone.
  • First interactions count: the first hover shows the hand, the first click jumps to the session, every time.

Version 2.0

One notch to call them all

Read the one notch to call them all release story
  • New MacBook Notch surface: see live Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Pi, and Antigravity sessions in one compact place, with the menu bar still available as an alternative.
  • Reply from the notch: write a follow-up and send it back to the intended session in supported terminals without finding the terminal first.
  • Decisions come to you: answer multi-step questions, approve or deny supported permission requests, and review plans when the connected agent exposes that flow.
  • Pi and Antigravity join the callout with live session status, distinct voices, finished-work callouts, session jumping, and notch replies.

Version 1.6

Cursor joins the callout

Read the cursor joins the callout release story
  • Cursor support: sessions from the Cursor IDE agent and the Cursor CLI now appear in the menu bar next to Claude Code and Codex, with nothing to install inside your editor.
  • Auto-play is now on by default: new responses play as they finish, queued so nothing talks over anything. The Settings toggle turns it off any time.

Version 1.5.1

Pause should mean pause

Read the pause should mean pause release story
  • Pause is actually pause now: no popping, no repeating audio, and switching sessions mid-play cleanly stops the old callout.
  • Bro code turned all the way up: briefer than Casual, denser slang, exactly how your bro would put it.

Version 1.5

Four ways to hear the work

Read the four ways to hear the work release story
  • New Bro code style: the slang-heavy voice, turned all the way up.
  • Casual is now actually casual: quick, plain English, and the shortest summaries in the lineup.
  • The app now offers all four styles the site promised: Bro code, Casual, Professional, Complete.

Version 1.4

Feedback moves inside the app

Read the feedback moves inside the app release story
  • Report a Problem and Request a Feature now live in the Help menu as real in-app forms, with optional diagnostics on problem reports.
  • Voice picker reordered: Felix, Natalie, and Jude lead the list.
  • New Changelog and Contact pages connect the app to a permanent public record.

Version 1.3.1

When an update fails, say why

Read the when an update fails, say why release story
  • Update failures now say why, on screen and in the log, and the update stays offered for a one-click retry.

Version 1.3

Make the update impossible to miss

Read the make the update impossible to miss release story
  • Opening the app now opens the app: manual launches show the window.
  • Updates are obvious everywhere: the Settings sidebar shows an Update button alongside the menu bar row, armed immediately after launch.

Version 1.2

A fair way to choose a voice

Read the a fair way to choose a voice release story
  • Every voice preview now speaks the same line, so picking a voice is a true comparison.
  • Stable download and update links now opt out of stale caching, while versioned artifacts remain immutable.

Version 1.1

First-run details that build trust

Read the first-run details that build trust release story
  • Signed-out polish: the menu offers sign-in instead of showing sessions that cannot play yet.
  • A designed drag-to-install disk image.
  • Two new voices: Natalie and Jude.

Version 1.0

A voice layer for coding agents

Read the a voice layer for coding agents release story
  • Launch: menu-bar callouts for Claude Code and Codex sessions, three summary styles, seven voices, usage metering, and in-place automatic updates.
