This release exists because of one email. Someone in Argentina had been testing Agent Callout, liked it, and asked a fair question: the agents only speak English, is Spanish coming? We read it in the morning and started building that day. No roadmap committee, just a user who asked for something reasonable.
Version 2.3 is the answer: one Language setting in the Voice pane, and Agent Callout speaks Latin American Spanish end to end. Hola, mundo.
Summaries that actually speak Spanish
Switch the language and every spoken summary arrives in natural Latin American Spanish, in whichever style you listen to, from the fast and funny one to the full executive rundown. This is not a translation layer bolted on top: each style was rewritten natively, so the Spanish has its own rhythm instead of English wearing a costume.
The technical guarantee did not move. File names, commands, flags, identifiers, and error messages stay exactly as your agent wrote them, in English, verbatim, inside the Spanish sentence. A summary that gets the words right but the code wrong would be worse than no summary at all.
Seven voices that belong to the language
Spanish mode brings seven Spanish native voices: Marcos, Lety, Max, Sandra, Paty, Alicia, and Jorge. Each agent gets its own by default, the previews are recorded in Spanish, and playback is pinned to a Latin American locale so the accent never drifts mid-sentence.
Your picks still win. If you have given an agent a specific voice, switching languages respects it, and the English roster stays available in Spanish mode if you like the mix.
The whole app, not just the audio
A Spanish voice narrating an English interface felt half done, so the interface came along: the notch, the menu bar, Settings, onboarding, the approval and reply cards, roughly 550 strings in all. Switch languages and everything re-renders in place, sidebar included, no relaunch.
One honest note: the Complete style reads your agent's exact words aloud, and those words are usually English, so Complete stays verbatim by design. And Spanish support as a whole is beta. We are trying, a native speaker reviews everything, and when a phrase still lands wrong we want to hear about it, because the fix usually ships the same week.
Product decision
The principle behind 2.3
The best roadmap input we get is a user describing the product they wish they had. One email from Argentina asked for Spanish callouts, and that email outranked everything else we had planned, because a voice product that speaks to you in the wrong language is not really speaking to you.
So this one goes out to that tester in Argentina, unnamed but very much heard. Gracias por el empujón. This release is yours.
